Flagship Ulefone Be Touch 3 goes official with 3GB RAM, MTK6753 and Android 5.1

Less than a year 6 months after the Ulefone Be Touch 2 has gone official, Ulefone has announced the flagship Ulefone Be Touch 3. The phablet-sized device has the same design as it’s predecessor, a metal body frame, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button and comes with a price tag of $199.

The Ulefone Be Touch 3 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LTPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MTK6753 64-bit processor with 3GB RAM. For storage there is 16GB native space and a microSD card slot onboard for more storage (up to 64GB).

In the camera segment, there is a 13MP Sony MX214 main camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera with Omnivision OV5648 sensor for selfies. The Be Touch 3 supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE Cat.4 networks and also has Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity onboard.

The Ulefone Be Touch 3 has Dual SIM slots, measures 158.1 x 77.4 x 8.6mm in dimensions, weighs 160 grams and is backed by a smaller 2550mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery with quick charging (same on the first Be Touch model – Ulefone Be Touch) compared to 3050mAh on the Be Touch 2.
