Russian based company, Yota has hinted the that it is already working on the YotaPhone 3 and YotaPhone 2C which would succeed their current flagship – the YotaPhone 2.
The company has already launched the YotaPhone 2 this year; this devices are currently selling in America for $500 via Indiegogo and in China for a price almost equivalent to that amount.
According to the General Manager of Yota, America Regions, Martin G. Kelly, the YotaPhone 3 and YotaPhone 2C would be launched based on the success of the YotaPhone 2. There is no timeframe for both successors to launch.
The YotaPhone 3 on its part is expected to be the YotaPhone 2 successor and is the next flagship. It is expected to sport the same Dual Display Setup with a more improved e-ink display, more RAM memory, higher pixel camera, a faster processor (from Qualcomm) and a thinner body.
The YotaPhone 2C on the other hand is expected to be a cheaper and reduced version of the YotaPhone 2. The device is said to be based on market feedback; some consumers wants some specs removed and the price to come down also. There is no word on the specs of this device.
Both devices as we earlier said are going to be released based on the success of the YotaPhone 2 and so far it is looking good for the device. Some Wireless carriers are also said to be interested in both devices.
