Sales of the Fly Nimbus 8, a new budget smartphone running Android Marshmallow, has begun in Russia. The low-end device which is one of the most affordable device with the current latest OS, is selling for a price tag of RUB 3990 (USD 62) and comes in Black, Green, Red and White colour options.
Moving to the specifications, the Fly Nimbus 8 FS454 sports a 4.5-inch TN display with 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) screen resolution, measures 132.9 x 67.3 x 10.2 mm in dimensions, weighs 130 of grams and is backed by a 1700mAh battery which is good for up to 160 hours of usage on standby mode.
Under the hood, the Dual-SIM enabled device relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6580AW/M processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 512MB of RAM, 4GB built-in storage space and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 0.3-megapixel camera for video calls and less likely selfies. Connectivity options available on the Fly Nimbus 8 include – 3G HSDPA+/HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It also has FM Radio.
