Japanese Carrier, NTT DoCoMo has announced the Fujitsu Arrow NX F-04G smartphone in Japan and one of the key features of the device is its comes with Iris Scanning technology. There is no word on pricing and availability.
The Arrow NX F-04G has a front infrared camera which is incorporated with an Infrared LED light to recognise the user’s IRIS ID pattern. Each human can be recognised differently with his/her own Iris (eyes) because no two human being has the same iris pattern. Asides securing apps, locking the device; via a special authentication it can be used to make mobile payments on DoCoMo.
The Fujitsu Arrow NX F-04G features a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display, powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the rear there is a 21.5MP camera while the front camera is a 2.4MP snapper. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE (LTE Cat.6), VoLTE, Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, supports a single Nano SIM slot, water resistant body and is backed by a 3120mAh battery.
