Huawei is expected to announce the Huawei Mate S – its upcoming flagship phablet by next month at the IFA 2015. The device is rumoured to come with the Force Touch display technology which is also tipped for the upcoming iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the ZTE Axon Mini.
According to a Huawei Mate S Specs listing on OppoMart, the device sports a 5.7-inch size display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and Force Touch screen. With Force Touch technology, the display is able to translate a soft tap and a harder tap into different actions.
Under the hood, it is powered by in-house made Hisilicon Kirin 935 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space. The main camera is a 20MP snapper, there is a front 8MP snapper for selfies and a safe and fast fingerprint scanner located on the rear (likely below the main camera).
The Huawei Mate S would run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box with the company’ Emotion 3.1 UI ontop and is backed by a 4100mAh battery. A suggested price tag of $599 rounds off the listing.
