The Samsung Galaxy J2 is the upcoming successor to the Samsung Galaxy J1 smartphone; while there is no official announcement yet the full specifications of the smartphone has popped up online.
The device is already in India for testing and is expected to launch in the same country before making way to other emerging markets. There is also no word on pricing.
According to sources, The Samsung Galaxy J2 (SM-J200F) would be powered by the in-house Samsung Exynos 3475 32-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, feature a 4.5-inch WVGA TFT LCD display, 1.5GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 was the only smartphone in the Galaxy J Series of device but it has been joined by the Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 Selfie-focused smartphones. There are also talks of the Galaxy J1 getting two variants – the Galaxy J1 Pop and Galaxy J1 Ace.
