A Finland based company, FutureMark has released the top Android devices of 2014 with a wonderful gaming experience. The company uses 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited benchmark scores to highlight GPU performance of different smartphones and tablets.
FutureMark is a company known for creating benchmarks for either mobile or pc performance. It prides itself in letting people in enabling people measure, manage and understand computer hardware performance. It is based in Finland just outside the Capital, Helsinki.
On its criteria for judging the different devices released in 2014 based on its gaming performance, the company has this to say;
This table ranks Android devices for gaming performance using their 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited benchmark scores. 3DMark highlights GPU performance with CPU performance having a lesser influence. We currently have 3DMark data for more than 2000 different smart phones and tablets.
Judging with the results – the NVIDIA Shield tablet comes out ontop followed by the Xiaomi Mi Pad and the HTC Nexus 9 in third place.
