Gionee A1 Lite Debuts With 20MP Front Camera, 4,000mAh Battery

Gionee has announced the latest entrant to its camera-focused A1 series in Nepal. The Gionee A1 Lite joins the original A1 and A1 Plus (dual rear cameras) which were unveiled at the MWC 2017, and will go on pre-order on June 18th. Pricing is pegged at NPR 26,999 (US$ 262) and some freebies are also included.

Sporting a metal unibody design, the Gionee A1 Lite sports a front facing 20MP camera with soft LED selfie flash (similar to the A1 Plus) and a rear 13MP camera with LED flash ‎(similar to the A1). It is backed by a huge 4,000mAh battery which has a very generous standby time – up to 295 hours (i.e over 12 days).

Under the hood, the device comes ‎pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS (with Amigo 4.0 UI on top) and relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 3GB RAM. It has a ‎Hybrid Dual SIM slot, 5.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, fingerprint sensor and 32GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).

Connectivity options on the Gionee A1 Lite include – 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. Black, Red and Gold are the available colour options.
