The Gionee CTRL V4S has finally gone official, the device is the latest in the CTRL V series and was listed online last month when the Gionee Gpad G5 phablet went official.

The Gionee CTRL V4S features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor with ARM Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
On the rear of the CTRL V4S sits a rear 8MP camera with LED flash, and a front facing 2MP camera also onboard. Connectivity options on the device the Gionee CTRL V4S includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP.
The Gionee CTRL V4S measures 131x65x7.8mm and weighs 85 grams (without battery), supports Dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 1800mAh battery which is listed to provide about 10 hours of talktime on 3G and up to 16 hours of talk time on 2G networks.
