Gionee has an upcoming smartphone in the works, the device simply knows as the Gionee GN9007 has been certified on TENAA and has been put through it paces on GeekBench. With the IFA 2015 fast upon us, the device could make its debut at the event or even before then.
The Gionee GN9007 is likely expected to be the Gionee Elife S7 Mini as the model number sits correctly in between the already announced Gionee Elife S7 (GN9006) and the Gionee Elife E8 (GN9008).
Moving to the specs, the Gionee GN9007 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 MP3 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Internal storage stands at 16GB and there is a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. Camera-wise, there is a 13MP rear camera and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB.
The Gionee GN9007 measures 144.9 × 69.8 × 6mm in dimensions, weighs 124.6 grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
