Gionee has two upcoming smartphone in the works – though their final names re not known yet – both devices carry the moniker – Gionee GN5001 and Gionee GN9010 for now but judging from past occurrences don’t be surprised if these devices go official with that name.
According to the TENAA, the Gionee GN5001 sports a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), weighs 188.5 grams which could suggest a big battery capacity and measures 143 x 69.9 x 8.6 mm in dimensions. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB native storage space.
On the front sits a 5MP camera for selfies, on the back sits a 8MP camera with LED flash and for more storage, there is a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB cards. The GN5001 supports standard connectivity options including 4G LTE and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
On to the Gionee GN9010, it sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB native storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
The rest of the GN9010 specs includes – 13MP or 8MP main camera with 4x optical zoom, front 5MP camera, 4G LTE, weighs 145.2 grams, measures 151.9 × 74.6 × 6.9mm in dimensions and also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
