Gionee is looking set to expand its smartphone portfolio with another mid-range smartphone dubbed the Gionee GN715. The company notorious for its many slim devices at a gadgets expo in China announced the device with support for 4G LTE and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The Gionee GN715 (final name unknown yet) like the features a 5-inch 720p IPS display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 400 processor clocked a 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera for selfies & video calls, and supports 4G LTE.
Along with LTE connectivity, the options available also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G HSPA+. The Gionee GN715 runs on Android 4.4 kitkat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 2000mAh battery.

The smartphone is expected to compete with the likes of Motorola Moto G, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Huawei Honor Play 4 and other smartphones within the mid-range category.
