Gionee has officially launched the latest device in the battery packed Marathon series – the Marathon M5 in India. It is available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 17999 (USD 271) in Black, Gold and White colours options.
The main highlight of the Gionee Marathon M5 is it packs two 3010mAh batteries (a total of 6020mAh battery), supports fast charging tech which charges both cells at once and reverse charging to be used as power bank for charging other devices. In Extreme mode, the device lasts up to 62 hours and boosts standby time by 5%.
Another highlight of the device is the model released in India has 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space in contrast to the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space on the global model. The rest of the specs are pretty much the same and has also added CDMA support.
