Gionee looks set to be nearing the launch of a mini version of the phablet-sized Gionee M6 and M6 Plus smartphones announced last month. The Gionee M6 Mini (Gionee GN5003) has passed TENAA certification in China and looks set to join the two battery centric devices in the M series (formerly Marathon series).
According to the agency’s listing, the Gionee M6 Mini Specs starts of with a 5.3-inch TFT display which isn’t exactly what a mini should be and an expected 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution. It has a metal unibody build like the M6 and M6 Plus, and is backed by a sizeable 4000mAh battery.
Under the hood, it is equipped with a octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz (possibly Mediatek) along with 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. The dimensions are 149 x 73.3 x 8.2 mm and it weighs in at 170 grams.
The rest of the Gionee M6 Mini Specs includes – front 5MP Selfie camera, Rear 13MP camera with LED flash, 4G LTE support and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (with the Amigo OS 3.5 on top). The listing cannot confirm the presence of fast charging, reverse charging or the fingerprint sensor.
