Earlier this year, the Gionee M6 Mirror made its way into the Nigerian market as a more affordable variant of the M6 and M6 Plus. The mid-tier smartphone has a 3D mirror-like reflective dual Arc body design on the rear and the battery capacity – 3150mAh is a bit disappointing compared to the M6 Mini (4000mAh), M6 (5000mAh) and M6 Plus (6020mAh).
Expected to last about a day of usage or more, the Gionee M6 Mirror has a metal unibody design, 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD AMOLED 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorila Glass 3 protection and boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Amigo 3.5 UI layered on top.
On the inside, the device packs Dual SIM slots, 3GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage next to a quad-core Mediatek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.5GHz. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP AF camera with Dual LED flash and a front facing 8MP selfie camera.
The Gionee M6 Mirror supports 4G LTE networks as well as Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 & OTG support. Thanks to the IR Sensor in place, it has a smart Remote feature for controlling appliances at home such as TVs, fridges, air conditioners, washing machines and other appliances.
Pricing for the M6 Mirror ranges from N64,000 – N70,000; it can be purchased online on Konga and Jumia.
