Gionee is looking set to launch a new addition to the M6 series. The Gionee M6s Plus, sequel to the likes of the M6 and M6 Plus, has been certified by Chinese certification website – TENAA and as expected, most of the key specs as well as the pictures are listed along.
The Gionee M6S Plus carries on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with the company’s custom UI and packs a sizeable 6020mAh battery. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz (could either be Mediatek or Qualcomm offering) paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB built-in expandable storage.
The device has a metal unibody design, 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display, rear facing 12MP camera with dual-LED, dual-tone flash and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. It measures 163 x 80.8 x 8.2 mm in dimensions, weighs 212 grams and has a fingerprint sensor in the home button.
The Gionee M6s Plus supports 4G VoLTE and should arrive in Gold and White colour options. Looking back at the design, the volume (up and down) keys and power / lock buttons are on the right-hand side while the SIM card tray can be found on the other side.
We should know more about this device when it goes official.
