Gionee has introduced the global version of the Steel 2 Plus as the Gionee M7 Power at Thailand’s Mobile Expo 2017 in Bangkok. The power variant of the Gionee M7 is backed by a bigger 5,000mAh battery compared to the 4,000mAh on the M7 but is less powerful when the specs are concerned.
The Gionee M7 Power has a 6.01-inch (1440 x 720 pixesl) HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, high-grade aluminium body with industrial design, rear 13MP camera with support for Bokeh Selfie and Group Selfie, front 8MP camera and 64GB built-in expandable storage.
The smartphone packs the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and boots Android Nougat OS with Amigo OS 5.0. It is priced at THB 9,900 (USD 296) in Thailand and CNY 1,999 (USD 300) in China. Black and Blue (laser-drilled finish) and Gold (laser-engraved finish) are the available colour options
