Earlier today, Gionee on its international facebook page teased the upcoming Gionee Marathon M4 smartphone. The Gionee Marathon M3 successor is expected to debut alongside the Gionee Elife E8 and the Gionee M5 which would come with a Dual battery setup.
The Gionee Marathon M4 is backed by the same 5000mAh battery used on its predecessor; the battery is said to provide 463 hours of standby time, up to 65 hours of talktime, up to 107 hours of music playback time, 16 hours of video playback time and 13 hours of gaming time.
The Gionee Marathon M4 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. It supports 4G LTE connectivity, has a metal body build which is slim and doesn’t really reflects the huge battery capacity.
The main camera is a 8MP snapper and the front Selfie camera is a 5MP snapper, It is expected to run on Android Lollipop OS with the company’s UI ontop.
The Gionee Marathon M4 is expected to debut internationally and since the company sells it’s products in Africa, we should see the power packed M4 in Nigeria. Pricing is tipped to be around the sub-$300 mark.
