Weeks after surfacing on chinese certification agency – TENAA, Gionee has officially announced its latest smartphone – the Gionee S10. Like the Alcatel Flash (2017), the S10 features four cameras (i.e two front and rear facing cameras) and arrives with two other variants – the Gionee S10B and Gionee S10C.
Gionee S10
The highlight of the Gionee S10 is the dual camera setup on the front and rear. It is fitted with a rear 16MP camera with dual-tone LED flash aided by a secondary 8MP camera for capturing the depth of field and a front facing 20MP camera also aided by a secondary 8MP camera for top notch selfies.
The Gionee S10 has a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display, Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / micro SD), fingerprint sensor, and support for 4G LTE networks. The rest of the specs include:
- Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Amigo 4.0 OS
- Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, Mali-T880 GPU
- 6GB RAM + 64GB built-in storage

Gionee S10B
The middle option of the new S10 series – the Gionee SB10 also features a dual rear camera setup – a 13MP primary camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF and secondary 5MP camera but the front selfie camera is a single 16MP snapper. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1080p FHD screen resolution.

Gionee S10C
The Gionee S10C sits behind the S10 and S10B, with a 5.2-inch 720p HD IPS display and has single front and rear cameras. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor, boots Android Nougat with Amigo OS and comes with a fingerprint sensor.

- Quad-Core Snapdragon 427 Mobile Platform, Adreno 308 GPU
- 4GB RAM + 32GB built-in storage
- MicroSD card slot (up to 128GB)
- 13MP rear camera with LED flash

Pricing and Availability
The Gionee S10C is already on sale in the Chinese market while the S10 and S10B will go on sale on June 9th.
In terms of pricing:
- The Gionee S10 costs CNY 2,599 (US$ 379) and is available in Cherry Gold, Dark Black, Indigo Blue and Primrose Green colour options.
- The S10B is priced at CNY 2199 (US$ 321) while the S10C costs CNY 1599 (US$ 233).
