Chinese Certification Agency, TENAA has always been a source of leaks especially for devices ready to launch is the country. A new device from Gionee has been spotted on the agency with the moniker – Gionee V381. The device belongs to the lower mid-range class with moderate specs and has a large battery capacity (4200mAh) which could turn out to be the selling point.
The Gionee V381 is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor (possibly MediaTek), with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS. It uses a 5-inch (560 x 940 pixels) qHD display, 8GB space of internal expandable storage, a rear 8MP camera with CMOS sensor; LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera is on-board.
The device is rather bulky as it measures 144.2 x 71 x 6.9mm in dimensions, weighs 180 grams, with GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It supports GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD and packs an enormous 4200mAh battery. The Gionee V381 has an elegant design with minimal bezels, the speaker is integrated at the lower back and sports three capacitive buttons below the display.
