Google Android One Program now in Indonesia, releases three handsets running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS

Indonesia is officially the fifth country to get the Android One initiative from Google. Google started the Android One initiative in India with Micromax, Spice and Karbonn; then it expanded to Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka

Google has also released three new Android One smartphones in Indonesia; The  Evercoss One X, Mito Impact and Nexian Journey. All three devices basically have the same specs – they sport a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB expandable internal storage space. 

Other key specs includes – rear facing ‎5MP main camera with LED flash, front facing 2MP camera and 1700mAh battery. These devices Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and would be getting get software updates directly from Google for two years after activation. ‎

The Evercoss One X, Mito Impact and Nexian Journey are available from Oke shop, erafone, Global Teleshop as well as other online and offline channels. Google has also partnered with Telkomsel to offer 200MB worth of app downloads from Google Play store for the first six months and would also offer free Over-The-Air (OTA) updates for these devices.‎
