Google has officially announced the Nexus 9 tablet, which was made in partnership with HTC. The tablet runs on newly announced Android 5.0 Lollipop, has a soft touch back and a metallic frame giving the device a premium feel. The tablet packs an amazing power house with the Tegra K1 chipset, Kepler GPU and supports LTE connectivity.
On the specs side, the Google Nexus 9 features a 8.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) IPS LCD display (4:3 aspect ratio), powered by a 64-Bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor which clocks @2.3GHz with Kepler DX1 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB non-expandable internal storage options
There is a 8MP camera on the rear and a front facing 1.6MP camera. The Google Nexus 9 also showcases HTC’s Stereo Boomsound speakers. The device runs Android 5.0 (Android L or Android Lollipop, measures 7.95mm in thickness and packs a 6700mAh battery with no word on how long it lasts.
An optional keyboard folio case which can be purchased separately; magnetically attaches to the Nexus 9 and ensures maximum productivity.
