Google One Launches With New Pricing Plans

In May this year, Google rebranded its Google Drive online storage service as Google One and moved its paid Drive subscribers on personal accounts to the new plans. Google has finally opened the new service to the general public starting with customers in the U.S.

Asides the new name, Google hopes to attract customers with better pricing and more flexibility. Google One covers Google Drive, Gmail and Photos. Plans start at 100GB for US$ 1.99, 200GB for US$ 2.99 and 2TB for US$ 9.99 for the 2TB per month. The starting 15GB option remains free.

Plans larger than 2TB remains the same – i.e 10TB for US$ 99.99, 20TB for US$ 199.99 and 30TB for US$ 299.99 per month. Asides the storage space, paid subscribers now have 24/7 access to Google’s live chat support and can add up to five (5) family members to share in ther plan.

Google is also promising Google Play credits and deals on hotels found in google search through the Google Store and Google Express benefits.
