Along with the HaierPad W700, the Haier HaierPad 103 was also announced at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. The Android Lollipop OS running slate should be already available starting month (September) in select European markets for a price of €229.90.
Moving to the specs, the Haier HaierPad 103 sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA) and a metal body build. The slate comes bundled with a detachable keyboard; and a fine-point capacitive stylus for ease and precision.
Under the hood, it is backed by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor with burst speed up to 1.8GHz, 1GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space. Connectivity options on the slate includes – Full USB 2.0, microUSB 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio jack, micro HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
On the back, the Haier Haierpad 103 sports a 5MP AutoFocus camera with no Flash; on the front, there is a 2MP camera for video calls and selfies; and for additional storage there is a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB cards.
Backed by a 8000mAh battery which provides up to 12 days of standby time and 7 hours of continuous usage, the Haier HaierPad 103 measures 260 x 168 x 9.4mm in dimensions and weighs 605 grams (both without the keyboard). Black and Silver are the available colour options.
