Along with the Haierpad W700 and Haierpad 103, Haier announced the Windows 10 OS running – Haier Haierpad W1015A and Haier Haierpad W1165A.
Both tablets share some similar specifications but we will be looking at them individually and in terms of pricing, the Haierpad W1015A is already available in select European markets for a price tag of €249.90 and the Haierpad W1165A is priced higher at €349.90 in the same market.
Haier Haierpad W1165A
Starting with the Haier Haierpad W1165A which is the bigger of the duo with a 11.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (WXGA) and has a plastic body in a mix of Black & Blue colours. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor clocked up to 1.8GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage.
The camera on the slate can come in two variations; an optional 5MP/0.3MP and a primarily 2MP/2MP front facing and rear facing cameras combinations; whatever camera option is chosen, there is microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
What makes the Haier Haierpad W1165A an hybrid or 2-in-1 is the presence of a detachable keyboard. The keyboard adds two USB 2.0 ports in the mix and pushes the weight of the tablet from 750 grams to 1.41 kilograms.
The slate runs Window 10 OS and comes with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro HDMI port, microUSB 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options. A 9000mAh battery is in charge of proceeding and ensures up to 10 day of standby time.
Haier Haierpad W1015A
The Haier Haierpad W1015A is the smaller of the duo and isn’t exactly anything small at a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) and uses the same plastic body but in Black colour only.
This model uses the same processor as the above, the chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space. There is also a 16GB or 64GB internal storage option to choose from and all three options have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Haier Haierpad W1015A weighs lighter at 600 grams but goes up to 1.1 kilogram when the keyboard dock is attached. The slate also runs Windows 10 OS but has the mobile office for windows and is backed by a 7000mAh battery which ensures up to 7 or 8 hours of usage.
