Chinese Appliance maker, Haier has three new tablet offering with two of them running Windows OS and the other running Android OS. The three slates in question are – the Haier HaierPad W800, HaierPad W203 and HaierPad 971 and they all run Intel processors.
First up is the Haier HaierPad W800, it sports a 8-inch IPS HD screen, powered by a quad-core Intel processor; 1GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and 4000mAh battery. The slate weighs 388 grams, runs Windows 8.1 OS, measures 8.6mm thin, micro-HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.
There is an optional keyboard which when attached makes the slate double as a mini laptop. It is already available in several European markets for €129 retail price for the slate alone; those who want the keyboard and cover will get the slate for €149.
Next is the HaierPad W203; it is also a windows OS tablet which has a 10.1-inch IPS HD display, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor with Intel Gen 7 GPU HD graphics. The tablets uses 2GB of RAM to handle multi-tasking and 64GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot is on-board too.
Other specs features of the W203 includes – mini HDMI port, micro USB v2.0 port, USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth, measures 9.4mm thin, weighs 410 grams and is backed by a 8000mAh battery. The HaierPad W203 comes with an integrated stylus and a detachable keyboard; it is expected to go on sale by April 2015 for €249 retail price. For the price you also get the stylus, Cover and keyboard included.
Last is the HaierPad 971, the device sports a 9.7-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) resolution display, measures 7.6mm thin and comes with a gold finish body. It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Other specs features includes – Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 8MP main camera, 2MP front camera and is backed by a 7800mAh battery. The slate is expected to go on sale by April for €249.
