English football Clubside, Manchester United has in a press statement announced it is putting an end to the use of iPads and laptops in the stadium during home matchdays. The company in a series of questions and answers revealed in a press release.
The football club said it is reacting to the latest intelligence put forward by UK airports concerning the issue of security of lives of the spectators and properties. Any device bigger than 150 x 100mm is prohibited i.e tablets and laptop devices but the statement points to iPads and iPad Minis should not be brought in the first place.
But spectators can come along with their smartphones and camers, provided it does not exceed the required size range (150 x 110mm). Other items apart from Laptops, iPad Air, iPads, iPads minis and tablet like devices banned from Manchester United’s Home ground includes – fans are notallowed to bring canned drinks, drink cartons, plastic bottles, glass bottles, drinking glasses, flasks, water in excess of 500ml, smokes or gas canisters, sticks, tools, radios, darts, poles, large umbrella, flags, baby buggies, prams, knives, camcorders, fireworks, weapons, large bags and suitcases, telescopic or long-lens cameras and banners bigger than 2m x 1m or of an offensive nature.
Ahead of the new season, Manchester United is definitely ensuring their grounds are threat free & secured and also for fans who disrupt others during games with recordings and selfies they just have to focus on the games alone now.
