Russia-based Highscreen has announced the launch of two new audio-focused smartphones – the Highscreen Fest XL and Highscreen Fest XL Pro. The duo have similar specs and come with a built-in DAC HI SOUND Lite, based on ES9118 SABER HiFi advanced audio technology by ESS, however, they differ in the aspects of memory (RAM), storage and front camera.
The Highscreen Fest XL has 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage and a front facing 5MP camera while the Highscreen Fest XL Pro packs 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage and a front facing 8MP camera. Asides their availability in Black, Blue and Orange colours, the Pro version comes with an additional Nylon cover.
Both versions feature a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D screen, quad-core Mediatek MT6737T SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, Dual Micro-SIM slots, front camera flash, rear 13MP AF Samsung camera with LED flash, 4G LTE (3/ 7/ 8/ 20/ 38) support, micro USB and fingerprint sensor.
Each measure 153 x 81.5 x 8.7 mm, weigh 167g, run Android 7.0 Nougat OS and depends on a 3,000mAh Li-pol battery (non-removable) with 1.5A charger for power. The Highscreen Fest XL (2GB + 16GB) is priced at RUB 8,890 (EUR 130) while the Fest XL Pro (3GB + 32GB) costs RUB 9,990 (RUB 144).
