Highscreen has announced a new large-capacity battery smartphone – the Highscreen Power Ice. It is housed in a metal body, maintain a 8.5mm thick body build and can also serve as a power bank for charging other mobile devices. It is available in Dark Blue and Gold colours for a price tag of USD 149.
The Highscreen Power Ice is backed by a 4000mAh battery that should last up to 15 days of straight usage in standby mode and has the ability to power other mobile devices – smartphones and tablets, via the USB OTG cable included in the box, hence, acting as a power bank.
The device sports a 5-inch IPS ONCELL display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it relies a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
For photography, the Highscreen Power Ice has a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and video calls; and a rear facing 8-megapixels AutoFocus camera with Blue Glass Filter. Connectivity options available includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It has Dual SIM slots and run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
