Highscreen has launched a new entry-level smartphone in its high-capacity battery ‘Power Series’ dubbed the Highscreen Power Rage Evo. The 5-incher is armed with a fast charging 4000mAh Li-Po battery and USB OTG support, allowing it serve as a power bank for charging other mobile devices.
Rocking a 5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and HD (1280 x 720 pixels) screen resolution, the Highscreen Power Rage Evo features a metallic body build, measures 144 x 71 x 9.95 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 168 grams and boots the now dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 32GB viaa microSD). In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13 MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5 MP camera for selfies and video chats.
The Highscreen Power Rage Evo has Dual Micro SIM slots and supports 4G LTE (Cat.4) networks as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Glonass and Bluetooth 4.0. It is available in Blue, Brown and Gold color options for RUB 11,990 (US$ 189).
