Highscreen has unveiled a new smartphone – the Highscreen Prime L in Russia. The 5-inch sized lower mid-range device which slots into the company’s prime series range of device, is available in Black, Blue and Orange colour options but the price tag is unknown yet.
Packed in a plastic polycarbonate body, the Highscreen Prime L sports a 5-inch in-cell IPS display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and DragonTrail glass protection. The device relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 8-megapixels camera with LED flash.Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, the Prime L has 16GB built-in expandable storage onboard and supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks.
Connectivity options available includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 and GPS/GLONASS. Measuring 143.5 x 72 x 8.3mm in dimensions and weighing in at 145 grams; the Highscreen Prime L has Dual Micro SIM slot (4G + 2G) and is backed by a 2300mAh Li-ion battery.
