Hisense Elegance and Faith Smartphones On Sale in SA

Sales of the Hisense Elegance (E76) and Hisense Faith (F31) has already commenced in South Africa. Both mid-range devices from the China-based manufacturer, Hisense, run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Hisense Vision UI 3.0 for improved experience and support 4G/LTE networks.

Of the duo, the Hisense Elegance is bigger and has better specs compared to the Hisense Faith. It sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution resulting in a pixel density of 400ppi while the Faith has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and a pixel density of 294 ppi.

Both devices sports an all-aluminium metal unibody design and powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4 GHz however the Elegance packs 3GB of RAM and 32GD built-in storage while the Faith opts for 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage.

Both storage options are expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The Hisense Elegance and Faith sports rear facing 13MP cameras (Single LED flash on Faith; Dual LED flash on Elegance), fingerprint sensor (0.5s unlock time) on the rear and front 5MP cameras.

The Hisense Elegance measures 151.5 x 75.74 x 8.3mm in dimensions, weighs in at 160 grams and is backed by a 3000mAh battery while the Hisense Faith measures 144.89 x 71.84 x 7.95mm in dimensions, weighs in at 143 grams and backed by a 2500mAh battery.

Both devices are available from all Foschini and Edgars stores, and MTN outlets in South Africa. RRP for the Elegance starts at R3,999 while that of Faith starts at R2,999.
