Hisense South Africa has unveiled a new mid-range Infinity series smartphone – the Hisense Infinity H30. The device has a 6.5-inch FHD+ U-Infinity display with 83.3% screen ratio and 800:1 contrast ratio, rear fingerprint scanner, single SIM slot, USB 2.0 Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot and a 4,530mAh Li-Po battery with AI power saving and Pump Express Plus 2.0 (PE+ 2.0).
For photography, there is a 20MP + 2MP AI dual rear camera setup with software enhancements, 0.1s PDAF and 1080p@30fps video recording. The front dewdrop notch houses the 20MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with Beauty shot and 1080p@30fps video recording, while the phone has a smart button to activate 8 different scenarios such as Night Mode, Split-screen, screenshot and Quick start.
The Hisense Infinity H30 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P70 octa-core 12nm AI processor with ARM Mali-G72 class GPU, 4GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot) and boots Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. The company also released the smaller Infinity H30 Lite with a 6.1-inch HD+ U-Infinity display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 8MP selfie camera and 3,000mAh battery.
The Infinity H30 is priced at R 5,999 and comes in Ice Blue and Violet Ocean colours, while the Infinity H30 Lite sells for R 3,299 and comes in Blue Wave, Ice Blue and Violet Ocean colours.
