Hisense SA has started selling the LTE-enabled Hisense Infinity KO smartphone in South Africa. The dustproof and waterproof smartphone will be available from major retailers in SA from the end of February for a price tag of R3999 in White and Black colour options.
The Hisense Infinity KO (C20) is based on the Hisense Jingang II C20 released in China which also turns out to be the Pantech V950 for Vietnam. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS OGS display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage which is non-expandable.
For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording @30fps. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Dual Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, micro USB 2.0 and 4G LTE/3G.
The Hisense Infinity KO has Dual Micro SIM slots, measures 144 x 72.1 x 8.6mm in dimensions, weighs 153 grams in size, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s Vision UI ontop and is backed by a 3200mAh Li-ion battery. It is impact resistant and IP67 certified for being both Dust Proof and Waterproof.
