Chinese mobile operator, China Telecom has teamed up with fellow Chinese multinational company, Hisense to announce the Hisense Jingang IIS C20S (Hisense Jingang 2S C20S or Hisense Kongo IIS C20S) in the home country. The mid-range device is priced at CNY 2199 (US$ 329) and arrives in Black or White colour options.
Blessed with the ability to withstand being immersed in up to 1 metre of water, for up to 30 mins and protected against dust (IP67 certified); the Hisense Jingang IIS C20S sports a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) LCD display and the faux leather back mimics that used on Samsung phones in the past.
On the inside, the device is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash while the front placed 5MP camera handles selfies and video chats.
The Hisense Jingang IIS has a rear placed Fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano), runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, supports 4G LTE (Cat.4) connectivity and is backed by a 3200mAh battery. Connectivity options includes – Dual Band Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
