HMD Global has unveiled two new 4G Nokia features phones – the Nokia 8000 4G and Nokia 6300 4G. Both devices pay homage to their predecessor – the Nokia 8000 and Nokia 6300 phones whilst also adding premium features such as 4G (LTE Cat.4) connectivity, Wi-Fi hotspot, Google Assistant, microSD card slot (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), two days of battery life, and access to the KaiStore for apps such as Facebook, YouTube, and Google Maps.
Housed in an elegantly crafted glass-like design with classy metalised chrome midframe finish, the Nokia 8000 4G has a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, 3D-curved keymat, 512MB RAM, 4GB built-in storage, 2MP rear camera with flashlight, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro USB. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and depends on a 1,500mAh battery (removable). It is available in Citrine, Onyx, Opal and Topaz colours for EUR 79 price tag.
The Nokia 6300 4G has the same polycarbonate design as the original and arrives in three colour options – Cyan Green, Light Charcoal, and Powder White. It is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and comes pre-loaded with KaiOS. Asides sharing some of the specs with the 8000 4G, it has a 2.4-inch QVGA display and VGA camera with flashlight. Pricing starts at EUR 49 in select markets around the world.
