HMD Global Unveil Nokia X, G and C Series

HMD Global has unveiled six new Nokia smartphones across three new series – the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10; Nokia G20 and Nokia G10; and Nokia C20 and Nokia C10. The Nokia X series is set to handle the top-of-the-line midrange, followed by the G series which tackles the intermediate, and the C series takes care of the entry-level categories. The models use ZEISS optics in their respective cameras and offer more than a day of battery life.

Nokia X Series

The Nokia X20 and X10 are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 mobile platform for truly global 5G connectivity and come pre-loaded with near-stock Android 11. They have the same 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS display with punch-hole notch, signature Nordic design, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB-C port and 4,470mAh battery with no charger included in the box.

The X20 is equipped with a 32MP selfie camera and quad rear cameras (64MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth), while the X10 has an 8MP selfie camera and retain the same setup, however, the main camera is a 48MP snapper. The Dual Sight camera feature onboard uses the front and rear cameras to capture multiple angles and scenarios. The 8GB + 128GB model of the X20 costs EUR 379 while the X10 costs EUR 309 (6GB + 64GB) and EUR 349 (6GB + 128GB) respectively.

Nokia G Series

Backed by a bigger 5,050mAh battery, the Nokia G20 and G10 promise to deliver three days of battery life. They have the same 6.5-inch HD IPS display with 8MP selfie camera in the waterdrop notch, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Nokia G20 is fitted with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, OZO Surround audio and quad rear cameras (48MP main + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP). HMD opted for the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and triple cameras (13MP + 2MP + 2MP) on the Nokia G10. Pricing starts at EUR 169 for the G20 (4GB + 64GB) and EUR 139 for the G10 (3GB RAM + 32GB).

Nokia C Series

The Nokia C20 (from EUR 89) and Nokia C10 (from EUR 79) are the latest entry-level smartphones from Nokia. They have the same 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display, 5MP rear + 5MP front cameras, 3.5mm audio jack and 3,000mAh battery. Both model also come with Android 11 (Go Edition), 1GB/2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB built-in storage and respective Unisoc processors – Unisoc SC9863a on the C20 for 4G LTE connectivity and Unisoc SC7331e on the C10 for 3G connectivity only.
