Honor 10 GT Debuts With 8GB RAM, GPU Turbo

Honor, Huawei’s affordable mobile device division, recently unveiled the Honor 10 GT – a slightly upgraded version of the Honor 10 which made its debut few months ago (April). This model also happens to be the first smartphone from Huawei with 8GB of RAM.

The Honor 10 GT features Huawei’s new GPU Turbo technology, which promises to improve the device’s overall performance by 60-percent and reduce power consumption by 30-percent. The said feature will also enhance the device’s capacity to handle intense mobile gaming sessions.

Another on-board feature is the tripod-free Super Night View Mode (available on the Huawei P20 series). The smartphone has the same specs as the original, as such, it packs a 5.84-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display, Kirin 950 octa-core SoC, 24MP + 16MP dual rear cameras, 24MP front camera, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and Android Oreo with EMUI 8.1.

The Honor 10 GT will go on sale via via the HiHonor store and JD.com, and begin shipping starting July 24 in China. The Chinese company also confirmed that the software update will be available to Honor 10 users starting July 15.
