Honor, Huawei’s popular brand, has unveiled the Honor 7X at an event in China. The mid-tier device, successor to last year’s Honor 6X, comes with a bigger full screen display with the currently trending 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezels, and features an upgraded dual rear camera setup.
The Honor 7X comes fitted with a primary 16MP camera with LED Flash aided by a secondary 2MP camera, rear fingerprint sensor, and a front facing 8MP camera for selfie. It relies on an octa-core Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and the option of 32GB, 64GB or 128GB built-in storage space.
The device sports a metal unibody design, 5.93-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass, hybrid Dual SIM slot (nano + nano / microSD), and boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top. A 3,340 mAh built-in battery sits under the hood to deliver the much needed power.
Available in Aurora Blue, Black and Gold colour options, the Honor 7X is priced staring at CNY 1299 (US$ 198) for the 32GB model; CNY 1699 (US$ 258) for the 64GB model and CNY 1999 (US$ 304) for the 128GB model. It is billed to go on sale in China starting October 17th.
