Huawei is no stranger to launching the same device in various markets under different names, the Chinese company recently launched the Huawei Nova Lite in Singapore and Japan. This same device made it to Europe (or Internationally) as the Huawei P8 Lite (2017) and in China as the Honor 8 Lite or Honor 8 Youth Edition.
According to sources, Huawei is expected to launch the Honor V9 selling as the Honor 8 Pro in Europe. The company’s sub-brand for premium yet affordable smartphones sent out press invitation for global or European launch of a new smartphone scheduled to happen on the 5th of April.

The Honor V9 was announced in China in late February and has been praised as one best Honor devices to be released yet. It is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 960 processor along with the choice of 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB storage space and comes pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Honor V9/8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch LCD display with Quad HD screen resolution, 4000mAh battery and uses a rear dual camera setup with 12MP sensors for capturing high-resolution images. It will arrive in Black, Blue & Gold colours while pricing is expected to be in line with that of the Chinese market.
