Some variants of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge come with an option in the app setting menu to disable the camera shutter sound. Why do you need this tutorial? Most other models don’t come with this feature thus you are constantly reminded whenever you take a picture with shutter-ing sound.
Asides the camera shutter sound, it is highly possible notifications and other system sounds which comes in when using the camera to record videos, ends up in your final video recorded. There is a solution though, an app called SilentCam S6 from Jawomo resolves this issue; it doesn’t only mute the camera shutter sound, all forms of notifications are put on mute whenever the camera is being used.
How To Silence Samsung Galaxy S6 Camera shutter sounds and Notifications
- 1. Download SilentCam S6 from Google Play Store, you can search for the app on there or you can download from this link. It is a free app.
2. Once you are through with the Installing routine, launch the app and hit the “App is disabled” button on the left top corner.
3. Toggle the switch next to the ‘SilentCam S6’ entry, a popup would ask to access user data, click on Ok. And That’s all set, you can now use the Galaxy S6 in camera mode.
Even though the SilentCam S6 is intended for use on the Samsung Galaxy S6, it also works on other smartphone models. Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S3 confirmed for now. It is that simple, from now on you have your Galaxy S6 camera on silent mode.
