As at early August (2014) we got wind from sources that HP and Michael Bastian are working on a wearable. This gave birth to the ‘MB Chronowing‘, it looks more like any analogue wristwatch with smartwatch features.
The MB Chronowing has a LCD display which it uses to display notifications, Calender, text messages, stop watch and be used to control music on your smartphone. It however doesn’t have a touchscreen display and has no health or fitness related alignment.
It is said to be compatible with iOS – iPhone 4S and latter; Android – Android 4.3 and later. It lasts up to 7 days of usage on a single charge.
The MB Chronowing would be available in two editions – the Limited Edition and Regular Edition. The Limited edition has an all Black with a Sapphire Glass crystal; Alligator strap and costs $649. The Regular edition has a stainless steel watch with Rubber, Nylon & Leather straps and comes with a $349 retail price tag.
