HP Slate 17 AIO Desktop-Tablet Hybrid With Android KitKat, Intel SoC and 2GB of RAM Listed

HP is reportedly planning to launch the HP Slate 17 AIO device which can be used as an enormous tablet, a desktop PC or a monitor. The device has not gone official yet but has has been quietly listed on HP’s Peru website with no pricing nor availability details listed along.

The HP Slate 17 AIO (Model No: J5U19AA) features a massive 17-inch Full HD display and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Intel Celeron N2807 processor (2 threads, 2.1GHz Burst frequency, 1MB cache) with Intel HD graphics (base clock 313MHz, Burst frequency 750MHz), coupled with 2GB of DDR3L RAM.

Other features includes – Beats Audio, USB2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI port and 720p webcam for video chatting. The HP Slate 17 AIO measures at 418 x 15 x 283mm, weighs 2.46kgs and the battery is expected to provide about 5hours of constant usage.

Reports suggest that the HP Slate 17 would go on sale in coming weeks for about $470 in the U.S. Asides the black colour option, a Yellow and Black option is also being spotted courtesy of Mobilegeeks.de.
