At the 2017 Cannes Film Festival last week, HP announced four new laptops – the HP Spectre x2, ENVY 13, ENVY 17 and ENVY x360 for today’s generation of digital creators. Each of these laptops boots Windows 10 Creators Update and are designed to enhance productivity and deliver top notch performances.
HP Spectre x2 with Windows 10
The luxury HP Spectre x2 detachable includes a precise Pen for curation and is optimised for using Windows INK. It has a 12.3-inch diagonal 3K2K (3000 x 2000 pixels), full-sized keyboard with 1.5mm key travel & glass trackpad, and durable kickstand that adapts usability up to 165-degrees.
It also features a rear 13MP camera, front 5MP WDR wide-view camera, IR camera for logging in securely via Windows Hello, 360GB SSD and USB-C. The battery promises up to 8 hours of usage and charges from 0 – 50% in 30 mins thanks to HP Fast Charge Technology. The HP Spectre x2 will be available from HP.com starting at $999.99 in June and at BestBuy.com.
HP ENVY x360 with Windows 10
The new HP ENVY x360 features a unibody aluminium chassis, 15.6-inch micro-edge display, high precision N-tig stylus with Windows Ink and up to 16GB RAM. It is available in Intel (Core-i5, Core i7) and AMD (A9, A12 and FX) processor options and arrives in Dark Ash Silver and Natural Silver colours.
The ENVY x360 is priced at $899.99 and will go on sale in June on HP.com.
HP ENVY 13 and ENVY 17 With Windows 10
The HP ENVY 13’s durable aluminium body, narrower bezels and updated keyboard design now gives it a more premium and attractive look. It sports a 13.3-inch laptop with Full HD or 4K screen res, 7th-Gen Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, option to add NVIDIA graphics cards and up to 14hrs of battery life.
It measures 13.95 mm thick, weighs 1.22kg and comes with port options such as 2x USB Type-C ports, 2x USB 3.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.2.
The ENVY 17 has also seen some updates. It now includes an optical drive, dual-storage option, up to 16GB RAM, NVIDIA graphics card and up to 10 hours of battery life. It measures 23.3mm thick and weighs 3.05kg.
Both the HP ENVY 13 and ENVY 17 will arrive next month (June) for a price tag of $1049.99 and $999.99 respectively from HP.com. It will also be available via BestBuy.
