HTC announce Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825 smartphones

At the MWC 2016, HTC announced three new desire series smartphones – HTC Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825. The trio, which consists of entry-level and mid-range devices run Android Marshmallow OS, comes with colourful design to entice the youths and supports 4G LTE connectivity.

Starting with the HTC Desire 530 which slots into the entry-level category; it sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.11GHz along with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space.

In the camera aspect, there is a front facing 5MP camera with f/2.8 aperture and a rear facing 8MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. The LTE-enabled Desire 530 backed by a 2200mAh battery with Extreme Power Saving mode.

Next is the HTC Desire 630 which shares the same design and body dimensions as the Desire 530 but the spec differs in some major aspects. It sports 5-inch 720p HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.

There is a front facing 5MP camera with f/2.8 aperture and a rear facing 13MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. The Desire 630 supports 4G LTE connectivity and uses a 2200mAh battery.

Last of the trio, is the HTC Desire 825 which shares all the specs of the HTC Desire 630 except for the display and capacity of the battery. It sports a 5.5-inch HD Display and backed by a 2700mAh battery.
