There have been reports of HTC producing a cheaper and plastic version of the HTC One M8. The HTC One M8 Ace (One Vogue Edition) has finally been announced as the HTC One E8 with the same premium specs but in a plastic body.
The Main difference between the flagship HTC One M8 and the HTC One E8 is in terms of its Camera and the body. The HTC One M8 has been replaced with a polycarbonate body instead of the Aluminium body, the duos camera has been replaced with the 13MP camera and the HTC One E8 sports dual sim functionality.

The HTC One E8 features a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution multi touch display with 441ppi pixels density, powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB with micro SD card support and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI on top.
The HTC One E8 measures 146.42 x 70.67 x 9.85mm (0.45mm thicker than the One M8) and weighs 145g (15g less than the One M8).
On the rear of the device is a 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, capable of 1080p video recording, a single LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera for making video calls and selfies.
The device has a dual sim functionality both with Quad-Band GSM connectivity, 3G with HSPA+ ((up to 42Mbps downlink), 4G LTE. Other connectivity options includes Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, and NFC. The One E8 is powered by a 2600mAh non-replaceable battery which provides 21 days of standby time and 13 hours of talk time.

The HTC One E8 is expected in four colour variants – Grey, White, Red and Blue. And also the grey model would have a gold or silver ring around its rear camera. There is no word on the pricing of the HTC One E8 and release date is set for early June Select markets and other locations in the nearer future.
UPDATE: The HTC One E8 has already been announced will cost CNY 2800 ($450/€330/£267) that also amounts to ₦73,000 to ₦75,000 in Naira.
