While HTC has the One M9 and One M9 Plus ready for the MWC 2015; new details is surfacing that the company has another exciting device with Quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display – the HTC Butterfly 3. This means that the Butterfly 3 would have more display resolution (1440p) more than the One M9 (1080p).
Quad-HD on the HTC butterfly 3 would make absolute sense as it would result in a display with large pixels. One issue however is the availability of the Butterfly series of devices from HTC they are mostly only available in Japan.
Even though the supposed HTC butterfly 3 will surpass the One M9 in terms of display resolution, it could actually equal the rumored One M9 Plus which would have the same resolution, bigger display and the fingerprint sensor.
If the long list of rumored devices from HTC see the light of the day, the company would dazzle at the MWC 2015. So far we have heard that the company would announce its first smartwatch, HTC Petra; the flagship One M9 and it’s Plus counterpart, One M9 Plus; a premium desires series phone, the HTC A55.
HTC has announced the ‘Utopia in Progress’ event slated for March 1st at the MWC, only time will tell what the company would announce.
