Months after the launch of the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12 Plus, the Taiwanese company has announced the launch of the HTC Desire 12S. The latest entrant in the Desire series has a design language comparable to the U12 Life and LG G5, and comes in Black, Red and Silver colours.
The HTC Desire 12S has a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio, rear fingerprint sensor and dual SIM slot support It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor and comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with HTC Sense UI.
Photography is handled by a single 13MP (f/2.2) camera with PDAF, 1080p video recording and LED flash, and also a single 13MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with LED flash. Power is supplied by a 3,705mAh battery with no mention of support for fast charging.
The HTC Desire 12S is already on sale in Taiwan in two RAM and storage options: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage for TWD 5,990 (EUR 170 or USD 195) and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for TWD 6,990 (EUR 200 or USD 225). Both storage options are expandable via microSD.
