LTE-enabled HTC Desire 520 is selling in the US exclusively on Cricket Wireless for $99.99 with activation on a smartphone plan. The entry-level device which was unveiled along with several others in mid-July is available to pre-paid customers of the carrier.

It sports a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) with a pixel density of 218ppi, a front facing 2MP camera for selfies, a 8MP main camera with LED flash, 720p video recording. The device has HTC Zoe for sharing Photos & Videos and a ‘Double Exposure’ feature which lets you combine photos for artistic effects.
Asides 4G LTE, other connectivity options on the Desire 520 includes Bluetooth 4.1, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS/GLONASS.
The HTC Desire 520 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with HTC’s Sense 7 UI ontop and is backed by a reasonable 2000mAh battery. Using the device in Extreme Power Saving Mode ensures it lasts up to a week on full charge or lasts overnight (almost up to 8 – 12 hours) on just 10% of charge.
