HTC Desire 620 and Desire 620G budget smartphones launched in Taiwan

HTC has announced a new desire smartphone into the Taiwanese market; the HTC Desire 620 as it is known is available in two variants – the Desire 620 and Desire 620G. We has earlier seen hands-on review on the aforementioned device.

Both variants are Dual SIM enabled, has a plastic build, front facing speakers and has similar looks with the HTC Desire 820. The company decided to go for a 5-inch  720p TFT display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, a front facing 5MP camera, Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS and a 2100mAh battery.

If you are wondering what is the difference between the HTC Desire and Desire 620G; the former supports 2G, 3G UMTS + 4G LTE networks while the latter supports only 2G and 3G. The Desire 620 is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with Adreno 306 GPU while the Desire 620G uses a MediaTek MT6592 SoC with its octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali-450MP4 GPU.

Both models will be available in the home country market starting beginning and the middle of December with a price tag of 6990 TWD/$225 for the HTC Desire 620 and 4990 TWD/$160 for the HTC Desire 620G .
